Based at the University of Stirling, in 2024-25 this project was funded by IMPACT<\/a>. It is now also supported by the Rayne Foundation\u2019s Better Careers for Better Care<\/a> programme, through to February 2027. During Phase 1<\/a>, we worked with a core group of leaders in social care and disability in Scotland, bringing evidence from social change experts FrameWorks UK<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the next year we will be working with two new cohorts of influential people in social care and disability in Scotland to deepen and widen discussion of how to reframe narratives of adult social care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is staffed by Richard Brunner and Jen Wallace. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jen has worked for over twenty years in the public and voluntary sector as a policy analyst. She specialises in working with stakeholders across professional boundaries to achieve sustainable change. She is best known for her work on societal wellbeing and for her programme of activities introducing the value of radical kindness<\/a> into public service narratives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Richard has worked as a practitioner and academic. He also works at the Centre for Disability Research<\/a> at University of Glasgow<\/a> where he conducts collaborative research about the barriers to independent living experienced by disabled people, and supports Glasgow Disability Alliance with collating evidence about \u2018future visions for social care\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
